Preschool Programs

The Galena ARC Preschool is an educational, socialization, and enrichment program. We prepare children for kindergarten by developing self-esteem, teach number and letter recognition, and respect for others. It is also a great opportunity to learn the social skills of sharing, listening, speaking, and group participation. We offer a nurturing environment for children to discover his or her interests in a curriculum of science, nature studies, creative art projects, music, field trips, and guest speakers.

 

Why we are unique:

• Full building security system with front door buzz entry, cameras in the classroom, and key card access.

• State approved fenced in playgrounds.

• Use of dance room, gymnasium, and sports and recreation equipment.

• Special art classes and music classes with ARC Art Program Director.

• Stop-n-drop and pick-up options (so parking is not an issues).

• Mid-year developmental screenings.

• Vision and hearing screenings.

• Monthly field trips.

• "Club Preschool" child care options during most school breaks and holidays.

 

Registrations accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited. To reserve your child's space download the registration form. There is a $30 annual registration fee. Registration 24 hours prior to service is required.

Hours:

• Drop off between 7-8:15 a.m.

• Pick up at 3-6 p.m.
