JUNE CLASSES

AGES 6-14 
Gourd Birdhouse

Thurs. June 11  |  1-4pm  |  $25
Instructor: Liz Larson

Paint a gourd and transform it into a birdhouse. It will be sealed and ready to hang outside.

Cut Paper Art
Thurs, June 18  |  1-4pm |  $25

Instructor: Liz Larson

Learn the art of "painting with paper" like artist Eric Carle. First you will create your own special painted papers and then make a cut paper art piece.

Shibori Fabric Dyeing

Have fun with the indigo dye process that has long been used in many cultures around the world. We will supply fabric to dye, you can also bring a white t-shirt.

Young Author Workshop
(2-day workshop)
Wed 15 + Thurs 16 |  1-4pm |  $50

Instructor: Local Author + Artist Mary Stayner

This is an amazing opportunity for students to learn and grow as writers in a fun and engaging environment. Explore and strengthen your writing technique, receive individualized feedback on your work, and enjoy creating in a community of young authors. There will be some illustration fun as well! Each student will receive a journal to create in during the workshop.

Mixed Media Sculptures
Thurs, July 23  |  1-4pm |  $25

Instructor: Liz Larson

Build a 3D bird structure and wrap with fun and whimsical fabrics, ribbons and feathers.
