Monthly Art Classes for Homeschooled Youth

There are two sessions to accommodate the amount of interested students. The same art lesson is conducted in the morning and in the afternoon:

10am-12noon
       and 
1:30-3:30pm
in the ARC Art Studio
FREE!**

May 18: Special presentation by
Jo Daviess County Wild Ones

This is an afternoon session only (1:30-3:30pm). We can accommodate a larger group so the morning regulars can also sign up for the afternoon session. Please sign up below.

Presentation about native plants: what they are and their importance to a healthy environment and wildlife. And then create a botanical drawing of a native plant using pencils and colored watercolor pencils.

​​Our classes build your student’s creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through visual arts education.
 
Liz Larson, ARC Art Program Director, will lead every class in drawing, painting, and 3D art. Each class will focus on using a new art medium. 
​
Student's must register in advance.
There is limited space. You will receive an email if you were put on the wait list.
