YOUTH PAINTING PARTY

Bring your favorite people together to celebrate your birthday or other special occasion (scout troops, 4H groups) with a guided painting party at the Galena ARC!

 

$120 minimum charge--covers up to 8 painters; $15 for each additional person

​

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party date (deposit will go towards the overall party cost). Balance is due on the day of the party: exact cash (I cannot make change) or checks accepted (made out to the Galena ARC).

 

Party particulars:

• 2 hours of guided painting.

• 8x10 canvases and painting supplies included.

• Painting instructor is Liz Larson.

• Party dates subject to availability.

• Birthday person can dictate the subject matter. Choose from the gallery selection on this page or I can create a new painting. (Need to know painting subject 2 weeks in advance so the sample can be created.)

• Art room is available for up to 1 hour after the painting is complete for presents and cake.

• You can bring cake, ice cream, plates, utensils, napkins, and room/table decorations etc. Refrigerator/freezer available for use if needed.

YOUTH STRING ART PARTY

*Best if children are ages 9 and up

Paint or stain a 5 x 7-inch plaque, choose a pattern (or create your own), grab a hammer and nails and let the fun begin!

• 5 x 7-inch Basswood Plaque.

• Each participant can choose a pattern or create their own.

• Instructor is Liz Larson.

• Party dates subject to availability.

ADULT STRING ART PARTY

6 person minimum  (24 person maximum)
   (you can have less but the cost will still be $270)

ADULT WOOD BURNING PARTY

Wood burning (also known as pyrography) is the craft of touching wood with a heated poker to produce decorative burn marks, achieving a large range of decorative effects. Choose a wooden plaque to burn your design into, embellish with acrylic paint and then seal for a lasting finish.

 

FEE: $45 per person

6 person minimum (10 person maximum)
   (you can have less but the cost will still be $270)

• Each participant can choose a pattern or create their own.

ADULT PAINTING PARTY

Unleash your creative spirit with an inspiring night out with friends/family where you can relax and share a fun experience at the Galena ARC. No previous art-making experience is necessary.

 

FEE: $40 per person

6 person minimum (24 person maximum)
   (you can have less but the cost will still be $240)

Party particulars:

• 3 hours of guided painting.

• Up to 16 x 20 canvases* and all other art supplies included. Different canvas size options available.

• Painting instructor is Liz Larson.

• Party dates subject to availability.

• BYOB and bring in your own food options.

• Party organizer can dictate the subject matter. (Need to know painting subject at least 2 weeks in advance so the sample can be created.)
