Casserole Dish Cozy

This class is ideal for intermediate sewing levels or even if you have lots of experience.
These are fast, easy, and fun to make! Dress up your table while protecting it from a hot or cold dish at the same time! Your standard 9 x 13-inch baking dish placed inside the Casserole Cozy will be the star on the dinner table. These eliminate the need for trivets and the side tabs fold over and make it safe to handle without having to use hot pads.
SUPPLIES TO BRING:
You will complete one cozy in class.
Fabric:
Bring 2/3 yard of cotton quilting fabric. OPTION: If you want the inside and outside of the cozy to be two different fabrics bring 2/3 yard of each fabric choice.
Fusible Fleece*:
Bring 2/3 yard of Pellon 987F fusible fleece.
*NOTE: Instructor will bring fusible fleece to class which students can purchase at cost, in case students cannot get to JoAnn's.
Sewing Machines:
Each student must have their own machine during class. The ARC does have machines available for use if you do not own one. We encourage you to bring in your own sewing machine as you will be more familiar with it.
