Our Mission
The Galena Art & Recreation Center (ARC)
is for people of all ages. There are so may things to do,
ranging from children's programs to adult exercise classes for
adults. You'll meet new friends and get to know old ones a
little better. We invite you to climb the stairs and open
the door to some exciting new opportunities.

Our purpose was
clearly stated when endowed with private funding and classified
as a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational and charitable
organization. Galena Art & Recreation Center moved into
it's current location in 1969 with a mission to promote
community program activities in arts, sports and recreation for
people of all ages. We've been serving the people of Jo
Daviess County with over 40 major programs each year.
ARC expenses are met in the following ways:
